Analytics is off until you allow it

Until you choose “Allow analytics”, the site sends no analytics events, creates no analytics ids in your browser and does not record where you came from. If you decline, nothing else changes: the site, the inquiry form, the chat assistant and the interactive portfolio work the same way.

What is collected after you allow it

We use our own analytics. There are no third-party analytics or advertising trackers. It records:

• which of our pages you open (a page name such as “home”, not the full address), the page version and language;
• which sections and marked elements were on screen for at least 2 seconds, and how far you scrolled (25, 50, 75, 90, 100%). This shows what was displayed, not what was read;
• approximate visible and active time on the page;
• clicks on marked buttons and links, by fixed ids such as hero_discuss_project. Link text and addresses are not recorded. A click on email or Telegram only counts as an intent to contact;
• form and chat steps such as “opened”, “started”, an error code or “submitted”, without anything you typed;
• in the interactive portfolio: whether it loaded, how long it took, errors and which projects were opened;
• where the visit came from: campaign labels in the link (utm_…) that pass our format checks, or only the domain of the referring site, for example linkedin.com;
• a screen size class (small, medium, large) and flags for our own test visits and for automated browsers.

Events are grouped by a random session id created in your browser and kept in its local storage. A session ends after 30 minutes without activity. Your browser also keeps up to 20 of your recent session ids (last 30 days) so they can be deleted if you withdraw consent. They are not sent anywhere except for that deletion.

What is never collected

Form field values, chat messages or anything else you type, keystrokes, your email, phone number or other contacts, full page addresses or query strings, screen recordings or page snapshots, mouse coordinates or paths, precise location, device fingerprints. The analytics data contains no IP addresses and no browser user-agent strings.

A random id is not a guarantee of anonymity

The session id is random and is not derived from your device. Combined with other information it could still relate to you, so we keep it short-lived and let you delete it.

How long it is kept

Detailed events and sessions: 30 days. Daily aggregated counts without any ids: 180 days. These are our current settings and may change; this note will say so.

Change or withdraw your choice

Use “Analytics settings” at the bottom of any page or the button below. When you withdraw consent, collection stops in all open tabs, the ids are removed from your browser, and our server is asked to delete the events and sessions of those ids, including their link to an inquiry. Daily counts that were already computed are not recomputed; they contain no ids. A one-way hash of the deleted ids is kept for 30 days, only to reject data that arrives late.

Your choice is stored in your browser (ip_consent). We ask again after 13 months.

Analytics settings

Inquiries and chat

Messages you send through the form or the chat assistant, and the contact you leave, are stored in our inquiry system so that we can reply. They are kept separately from analytics and do not depend on your analytics choice. They are kept until we delete them; you can ask for deletion at any time. If you allowed analytics, an inquiry also stores the traffic source of that session; withdrawing consent removes this link. After your first chat message the browser keeps a random chat key so the conversation survives a reload.

Other data

Your browser also stores your language choice (ip_lang) if you switched languages. The web server keeps technical access logs (IP address, requested address, browser type) to protect the site from abuse. These logs are not part of analytics and contain no analytics ids.
