GuardDeFensy — anti-spam bot for Telegram groups

Any open Telegram group sooner or later fills with spam: «earn $300 a week, DM me», a fake «Telegram support» asking for the code from an SMS, phishing links, made-up fees. Admins can't watch the chat around the clock, and members leave a group full of junk. The bot takes this routine off the admins: clear cases disappear automatically, normal conversation stays, and people decide only what really needs a human.

What it does: the bot reads every message in the group and checks it against explainable rules in English, Russian and Ukrainian — earning offers with «DM me», requests for a login code, password or seed phrase, «send the fee to me», links whose text shows one site but lead to another, look-alike domains, ads, floods and copy-paste raids. Such a message is deleted at once and its author is muted for a minute; for repeats, a day and then a week. Obscene words are removed too, without a mute. Newcomers tap one button before they can write. Quotes, warnings about scammers and questions like «is this word rude?» are never punished, and a link to a map or a single word like «crypto» is fine. The bot talks to members in English, Russian or Ukrainian — in each person's Telegram language. What only a person can judge — threats, complaints, appeals — goes to the admin as a card, and a summary of the day arrives in the evening.

   Add the bot

   Add @GuardDeFensy_bot to your group as an administrator. The button below opens Telegram with the rights it needs already ticked: delete messages, restrict members, invite users.

   Tell us the group

   Write to us on Telegram with the group's name. The bot does nothing in a chat until we switch it on for that chat, so it never works where nobody asked for it.

   It works by itself

   From then on nobody has to watch the chat: the bot deletes clear spam and scams, mutes the author for a minute (a day, then a week if they repeat) and asks newcomers to tap one button before they write.

   Undo in one tap

   If it removes something by mistake, tell us: every automatic deletion has an «undo» button that lifts the restriction. The deleted message itself can't be brought back — Telegram doesn't allow it.

Our own product: the rules, the code and the server are ours. It needs no AI and no paid services, so running it costs nothing beyond our server.

Runs on our server and works by itself: it deletes, mutes and keeps every decision with its evidence, so any action can be checked and a mistaken restriction lifted in one tap. 69 automated tests cover the scenarios — newcomers, links, phishing, quotes, floods, raids, restarts. On our server it checks a message in about 1 ms and uses about 40 MB of memory. We don't publish an accuracy figure: the rules are tuned on real decisions.

Keep in mind: Telegram shows a message to the group before any bot sees it, so spam can flash up before it disappears, and messages older than 48 hours can't be deleted at all. The bot doesn't delete messages from the group's admins. It catches typical spam in English, Russian and Ukrainian; we don't promise it catches everything.
