PigeonHole 3.0 — browser installation trainer on StreamForge
A Singapore client needed to show its device at a real intersection and teach installers to mount it, by one link.
Task
Rebuild the Orchard Road intersection in the browser with the pole-mounted camera, walk an installer through the steps, and keep the heavy scene quick to open.
What was built
A three.js scene on our StreamForge loader and a 4-step trainer: assemble the box, fix it to the pole, raise it into the green zone on the lamp post, loop the safety cable. A tablet shows both cameras' feeds.
Our role
We build the scene and the installation trainer; the StreamForge loader is our own technology.
Whose product: Developed for TTS Group, Singapore
Result and current state
The client has four versions: full and lighter for weaker laptops, with and without the patent walkthrough. Work continues; the client has not accepted it yet.
Keep in mind: The scene is heavy: on phones and weak laptops open the lighter versions, v10 or v12.
